Graphene is a two dimensional crystal made of a single atomic layer of graphite. Graphene possesses truly remarkable technological properties. It may become the main material in all future micro- and nano-electronics. It is a very interesting theoretical system too, whose microscopic properties are described by a relativistic theory with a high degree internal symmetry. In this project, you will use analytical and numerical methods to address the effect of strong magnetic field on the physical properties of graphene.
