We are developing nanopore devices (tiny channels for fluid flow) that pass DNA molecules with the eventual goal of reading the base sequence of DNA using electron tunneling as the bases exit the carbon nanotube. This rotation will involve building components of this device both in the cleanroom and at Biodesign.
