Research Interests

Enrico Borriello is a theoretical physicist. His research centers on the dynamics and controllability of complex networks, especially models of gene interactions, and the consequences of the non-linear dynamics of their regulatory processes. His other areas of expertise include theoretical particle physics and astrophysics. He is particularly interested in astrophysical signals originated in complex environments, like the imprint of the turbulent matter field of a supernova on the flux of neutrinos, or the indirect dark matter signature produced by the diffusion of cosmic rays within the galactic magnetic field.
